How do I undo an error in the relationship between two people?

Question 1

I entered data for a one person and incorrectly checked her as the wife of her son and I am going round in circles trying to undo the error. Because the wife and the daughter-in-law are linked as one person, changing the details of one changes the details of the other. I would simply like to delete one and start again, but this is not allowed. Any suggestions?

Go to Barbara's edit page and look to the right for Edit Family. Go to the Spouses section and click the "add/remove a spouse" and scroll to the bottom of the page to the section entitle "II. Remove spouse." Select the appropriate radio button and click the large green button that begins "REMOVE SPOUSE OF..."
