Is there a way to sort profiles?

Since I have just started,  and was working with a ton of names from Bibles, and my uncle notes.  I know some on my profiles don't have adequate sources.  Is there a way to sort these out from the others on my watchlist?

Promised myself no more additions until a were clean an sourced.  Which is hard., when it is so much fun to look for more info.

Thank you  Jamie

Just go to your watchlist, and hit the green button that says unsourced.   That will give you, sort alphabetically, all of your profiles with the unsourced template.

I don't see a green button that says unsourced when I go to my watchlist, Robin.

Where on the page is it located?

Do you know if it may be browser-specific or if it requires Flash?
There are 8 white boxes with green lines around them above your watchlist. Unsourced is the box/button furthest to the right.
does not show up as green on mine either,  but it is there,  great tool

thanks for the info
Apparently we just use different terminology for the same thing - I just call them links (or links in boxes!!).

I just wanted to make sure we meant the same thing.
I wouldn´t normally call them boxes either. I was just trying to offer descriptive help to find them :)

One option would be personal categories, more info about which can be found here:

I keep meaning to try them out, they look like they might help my workflow.

You could also try what I do now, which is copy and paste my watchlist into an excel file. I have added columns for tasks I want to have done and can check things off, make notes, and sort.

Hello, Jamie!

This is not exactly an answer to your question, but I find that sorting my watchlist by oldest date (and working on one of the profiles at the top) is a good way to cycle through my profiles. After I edit a profile, it then moves to the bottom of the list; so I always have "fresh" profiles to work each time I log in. I feel it is also a good way to get into a rhythm for editing!

One caveat is that you HAVE to edit the profile to move it down the list; a simple tweak of a certainty setting (Preferred Name is a good choice, as one rarely knows if the person actually preferred it) is sufficient, so no biggie!
