Can someone help me find a death certificate on Dosser Gerald Lowman?

Question

He was born in 1931 in Omaha, GA. Stewart County. His father was Willie Lawrence Lowman and his mother was Glennie Dean.  I have tried to find it and can't..thank you..

Recent Death certificates in most cases are not going to be online. You need to determine when and where he died in order to locate and then purchase a Death Certificate from the local government entity, usually the town in which he died. If you have this information start at the town hall in the town where he died.

I checked the Social Security Death index and they don't have a Dosser Lowman listed. They have one Gerald Lowman 1920-1967. (Soc. Sec. didn't start til the 50's so won't help if he died before that.

Check with other living relatives to see if they remember going to his funeral. Pinpointing the cemetery might help in your search. Or they may remember when and where he died.

He was born in 1931 and died in 1931 in Stewart County, Omaha, Ga.  He didn't draw social security.  I am actually trying to find out where he is buried.  I found his sisters and since there are NO living relatives then its kinda been a job.  thanks for your effort..

In that case I would contact the Stewart County clerk and ask about death certificates.
