That is a very interesting photo of the General. Instead of the tough-guy image often shown in civil-war era pics, it has a gentle look and softer expression than most.

I found lots of stuff and added some of it to the profile. But I am also working, so I couldn't properly research and find everything. I'll do more this evening! Very interesting fellow, lost his left arm in the Mexican American War!
