Profiles set Private in Tree of a deceased person [closed]

Question

Can someone please help me solve a privacy issue? From what I can tell, the entire family is set as a private tree, yet the ancestors are over 200 and I am a manager. I tried removing the other manager after a merge, so I canopen the family, but it's all still on lockdown. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Crazy to me too. I think the email <removed for privacy>  on the profile is set to active and I can't edit that field. Any thoughts on how to fix, let me know! Thank you.

A leader will have to intervene!! Thank you for posting this question however. I am sure they will respond as soon as they can.

Check whether "blank because living" or "still living" is selected on any of the birth/death date or place fields.

Checked all editable fields and only one I think is effecting changes is the email setting. <removed email for privacy>  Any ideas on how to edit, let me know. Thank you!

You could contact info@wikitree,com and and ask them to open the profile and remove the profile managers.

I see you added 7 Feb 2017, 13:10: Kelly Sullivan added John (Garrett) Catlett-Garrett as manager for profile of John (Garrett) Catlett-Garrett. [Thank Kelly for this] as a profile manager so you need to remove him as profile manager as he is a deceased person, then remove your old e mail address and replace with a new or good e mail address or also remove yourself as a profile manager.

I tried to remove the absent manager. Looks like an email to wiki is my last hope. Thanks for the input. :)

Yes. I sent an email. I've run into glitches on older profiles a few times. I've actually added an email in "contact field" and had the profile get locked, but this time...the profile manager=profile of dead man!
