My paternal grandfather was born in 1916 at the Crittenden Home for unwed mother in Spokane Washington. Upon birth he was given the name Julius Adams, and after being adopted 3 different times, his name was settled at Karl Willys Jasper. His birth certificate states his mother as Ruth Adams, supposedly 19 years old and a resident of Seattle Washington. His birth certificate states his father was named james Fitzgerald from Seattle Washington. Ruth is said to have been domestic help in James' home and became pregnant. It is said he was a bookkeeper. His adopted parents were Emily Brown of Spokane Washington and Charles Jasper of Denmark.There is alot of mystery surrounding Karl's adoption and background, and of course alot of speculations. Myself, and my dad's ex-wife have spent some years trying to locate more information on who his parents were. We have a birth certificate but are not sure if the names on the certificate are correct. I have a rather large family tree Ive spent time putting together on Ancestry, and Im not sure how to upload it to this site. I would love help locating information about my grandfather's birth parents. Thank you
