How about some connection statistics?

Are there statisticians out there to develop a measure of connectedness? How many descendants from a root ancestor? How many spouses listed on the tree? How many root ancestors? Might be fun to see the numbers on different trees. The same stats could be listed for immigrant ancestors or a place. The immigrant ancestors in a place could give you an idea for the big families or the ones that have been researched. Immigrant would relate to the founding of a place.

I too try to think about 'weight of connectedness' and tried many moons ago to see if such data could be visually displayed...maybe these ideas will lodge and be noticed by creative programmers that stop by here or there. Also see:
