Message not coming through? [Blank private message]

I received a message today from the page of Callingham-9 which appears to have no content.

I'm using an Apple Mac running macOS Sierra version 10.12.1 and using the built in email system.

When I went back to the online server the message is there as copied below.

This is the second time I have had a mystery empty message from Wikitree.

If this is a system compatibility glitch it may explain lack of response from profile managers.

I have also copied the received blank message headers so your tech folk can look at it.

Message:

The following was sent via the private messaging system on WikiTree.com.

On this profile and the others (where confirmed with DNA is selected) please include a citation explaining how auDNA was used to confirm the parental relationship.

Thank you and sincerely, Peter

Hi Carol,

Sorry for my ignorance, but can you explain what you mean by "online server"? That is, where did you find the private message?

I found the whole message on Apple 'Cloud' mail accessed through a web browser. The message was there OK but it came through as a blank message to the client on my MAC.

As I said its the second time this has happened with private messages from Wikitree.
Thanks, Carol.

I assume you get other e-mail through WikiTree? I sent a private message to you now to test.

In looking at closer at Peter's message, it appears that something is cut off. It says "please inc ...".

Do you see the whole message on the Apple server?

I'll ask Peter if he remembers anything unusual about this message, e.g. if he copied and pasted anything that might have special characters or coding.

This is the message as on the Apple server.

Thank-you yes i received your private message OK Chris.
Hi Carol,

Thanks for confirming that the text of Peter's message appears normal (Peter confirmed this as well) and that you receive other messages.

Peter thought maybe you're saying here that just the subject line of the message was missing. But you're saying you can see the body of the message in your Mac e-mail client, correct?

Chris
I can see the message text on the apple server but on my client all I got was the from 'Tom Callingham's profile on WikiTree' and 'this message has no content' in the subject line
Chris I have forwarded it to you from my email client on my Mac
