Is there a new policy in effect for yDNA matches?

Question

Since Family Tree is no longer operating the Y-search site, but just letting it function on the data that is in there now, there is no chance for new yDNA data to be added to Y-search.   There also can be no confirmation between any old DNA that has been processed into the site with any yDNA that has just been processed recently, because they will not add any new data to Y-search.   (I talked to Family Tree about this today.)

Is there a new policy in effect here to write this up?   I want to do this correctly.   The match is one marker off at the seventh generation.

Family Tree DNA never has added data to YSearch.   Y-DNA testers have added it through manual input or through clicking the YSearch upload button at the bottom of their Y-DNA Matches page on their myFTDNA site.

There is confirmation between Y haplotypes uploaded long ago and/or added recently.  I just performed a comparison to verify.

He is Nowell-373; the kit number is 191752.
