The Hatfield & McCoy Project and the Collaborative Profile of the Week Present

Larkin McCoy

Larkin McCoy (1856- ?) was a member of the infamous McCoy family. Be careful, I noticed there is more than one Larkin McCoy.

Hatfield and McCoy Project
Who's intrigued by Family Feuds?

The Hatfield and McCoy project is a subproject of the Black Sheep Project. This feud involved the members of two families, their feuds, murders, trials, and the reasons involved. The families were led by Randolph “Ole Ran’l” McCoy in Kentucky and William Anderson “Devil Anse” Hatfield in West Virginia.

The editor is misbehaving I'm trying to fix this.
All set now.
Thanks, Anne!

I will do a very quick GEDCOM junk clean-up.
Thanks Chris
I would love to help but don't know how to reply to this request except by entering a comment.  I have a large Hatfield McCoy family which include Larkin McCoy
Hi Peg, Up above where you've made this comment you can also press answer. Tell us what you know about Larkin and tell us why you know it (give us a source for that information) At Wikitree it's very important to cite sources for all the information. If you know something, but only know because someone else told you, "rummage" around on the internet and see if you can find the information and where it came from. If it's the family tradition that's been passed down, (like he wore size 13 boots) that can be included but we have to include that it's only family tradition.
