I notice this page lists father as william lindsay at top...

however at bottom of page under biography lists father as matthew ..which is it?  is this why I can't find any info on matthew lindsay from scotland?

Hi Melinda, thankyou for your message.  According to:  https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/2:1:MW73-6KJ, She married William Sr, and his father is Matthew Lindsey.
