Received an e-mail earlier today from Findmypast saying - "we’ve made all 111 million Irish records completely FREE for the next 4 days."

N. Ireland too?

I have no exp. w/ FMP site - do they have old records (200+y) for common folk? I've noticed England seems heavily geared toward 1800-1850 and later which is 200 y too late for me.

Hi Mikey,   I'm not sure what records they have - or the usual problem with Irish records - what exists before mid 1800's !!    There are more free Irish records which have come online this week at https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/ as well.
