Does anyone else wish they could sort their watchlist by profile ID?

And Chris, how difficult would this be?

The closest I've come to this is to click on the name portion of the profile ID in the Watch list and that will list everyone in your watch list with that last name. You will have to click on "Include people with current last name" to get those who married into that name.

I recently discovered that feature, Rosemary! It is quite useful, in my opinion.

For some reason, though, I feel it's a new feature - I was sure that column was different when I first joined WikiTree. Probably just my imagination!!
Thanks, Rosemary! Once you pointed it out, it became obvious... There are so many features already in place that I'll probably still be discovering new ones 5-10 years from now -- not counting anything that is added during that period!

Lindy, now that I've seen it, there's another way to get the same list. From any surname page, there is a list of genealogists' tools just below the list of related surnames. One of the options there is "limit to watchlist"; another is the "include people with current last name" that Rosemary mentioned. Both of those options are toggles, so you can turn them on & off as wanted.
Unfortunately, not quite by ID... although it comes pretty close.

If you go to the Create Custom To-Do List page, the WikiTree-ID is displayed, and you can sort on it by clicking the header.

Where do we find that page, RJ?
There's a link in the blurb at the top of your Watchlist.
Thanks, RJ. I never would have thought to suggest that.

Quite true. But it only displays 50 at a time; very limiting if you have even a moderately long watchlist. Mine's currently just under 1500, so it takes 30 pages to see the whole list. And you can't go directly to a profile from there.

There's a down arrow just above the 'Create To-Do List' button that allows you to change the 50 at a time to 500 at a time. That way you would only have to look through 3 pages. Copy and paste the Wiki ID for the person you want to see into the right side of the url for any WikiTree profile. That will take you directly to the person's profile.
