Thanks Frank but I already had the marriage date but counld not find any mention of parents.  I found a Census reference for a John Young, Edward Young and a younger person around 7-8 years old in Tenn using the 1840 Census but could not tie down anything with a better source.  Would appreciate any help you can provide.  Rich Young
