Parents of Catherine Fooks (born 1725 in Osmington, Dorset, England)

I am unable to find the birth parents of Catherine Fooks (born 1725 in Osmington, Dorset, England). Her husband was William Winter.

Feel free to assist me, as I am currently at a brick wall with my direct maternal line (mtdna line).

According to Ancestry, Catherine's children are William Winter Jr. (born 1756), John (1761), Richard (1765), Thomas (1770), Mary (1754), Elizabeth (1758) and Sarah (1775).

Did not find a Fooks marriage in Osmington up to 20 years prior to Catherine's birth  Found several in Dorset, England, however.

I checked the baptismal records for Osmington, where Catherine married William Winter in 1754. The Fook/Fooks family having children during the period 1710-1730 was John and Mary.  A daughter, Katharine, was baptised on at Osmington on 20 Oct 1729.(Dorset, England, Church of England Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1538-1812 [Ancestry.com. database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations, Inc., 2011.Dorset History Centre; Dorset Parish Registers; Reference: PE/OSM: RE 1/1) Other children of John and Mary include Joseph and at least 2 Williams.

Mary, wife of John Fooks, was buried at Osmington on 23 May 1762.(Same citation as above.)

Comments

That was the only thing I found about "Catherine's most likely parents". However, one person's family tree stated that Catherine was born in 1725, where as the record states "20 Oct. 1729".

I'm not sure if they refer to the same person.
