Welcome Randi!

I encourage everyone to add their DAR Ancestors to our category: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:NSDAR_Patriot_Ancestors

Also, Lianne made us a handy template to do this:  http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:NSDAR_Patriot_Ancestor  To use the template, just copy and paste the text into the top of any DAR Ancestor's profile biography section. Change the DAR Ancestor Number to the correct one and change the Rank to the correct military rank which can be found on the database search you listed above.  When you save the profile, the ancestor is added to the Category:NSDAR_Patriot_Ancestors and the DAR insignia is added to the profile.

Catherine, that is a nice link (except the colors).  More all-encompassing than the DAR because it covers a lot of participants, although at least parts of the website haven't been updated since 2009.  Thmbs up.

Fold3.com also has a tremendous amount of records. It is a pay site. I have found it to be worth the money.
