William Kennedy Immigration

Question

William Kennedy (Son of Alexander and Anna Crawford) was born in Scotland 1May1690 but died in South Carolina, USA.  I've contacted the Scotland Trust and they could not find any information from his two sons forward nor any immigration information.  I just want to find port records or other information about why he came to America or how.

Hi.  I'm trying to verify a connection between my GGGGG Grandfather, Dr. Joseph Pulaski Kennedy and William Kennedy.  Every web page I see shows this connection, but I'd like to see some type of verification such as the two traveling together or Joseph being listed as one of his children.  Do you have anything that can verify that Dr. Joseph Pulaski Kennedy (born 1730, Married to Mary Dick Henson, died around 1796) was the son of William Kennedy (born 1690, Married to Mary ?)?

I believe my ancestor, Dr. Joseph Pulaski Kennedy, born 1730, Married to Mary Dick Henson, died approximately 1796 was a son of William Kennedy.  I have all the verification from Dr. Joseph up to my dad, but need verification of Dr. Joseph back to William.  Records that go back across the ocean seem difficult to trace.  Maybe we can help each other.

This disambiguation serves to disprove the Immigration of this William Crawford Kennedy and to permanently set aside the validity of the Cox-Kennedy Bible entry that states :

William Kennedy Son of Alexander Kennedy and Anna his wife, was Born at Culzean Airshire [sic] Scotland ye 1st Day of the 5th mo 1690 and departed this life ye 6th Day of the 6th mo 1749 Johnston County

This William is my 5th great grandfather and the writer of the entry in the Bible would have no reason to manufacture this information.
