I wanted to share this family photo of Ellis Atkins with the community. Location: unknown. Date: unknown.
Ellis Atkins was Secretary for over 50 years of the local friendly society in Brightlingsea, Essex. He was prominent in the Ancient Order of Foresters Friendly Society in Brightlingsea and in the Colchester district.

How did you go about getting permission to use his image, curious as I've a few family members - portraits in hospitals etc.  Yet to approach them about using the images (paintings).

Court Lifeboat 4390 of the Ancient Order of Foresters is proud of its heritage and service to the community. I am on the committee of management.  and the photograph came from our records.
