Matthew de Holland-4092 is marked "Parentage and Wife are Disputed." Father of Matthew de Holland-4092 named as Floris Holland-933, has the Tag {Descendant of Charlemagne}.  Robert Holland-1449 son of Matthew has the Euroarusto Badge.

Question: If Matthew Holland-4092 is a groundless internet fantasy, then should his profile be removed, and put in the "Groundless Internet Fantasy Project?" Second question, if Matthew Holland-4092 is a Fantasy should Matthew's stated father Floris Holland-933 be removed, as well? Third question, what to do if the disputed profiles cause a break in the surname line?

Follow Up Question: If Matthew Holland-4092 is a Fantasy, and Floris Holland-933 being the father of Matthew is in question, "who is the father of Robert Holland-1449?" Both, Robert Holland-1449, the son of Matthew, and Floris de Vette Holland-1439 the profile after Floris Hollland-933 have the Euroaristo Badge.

We can not delete profiles on WikiTree.

We can disconnect bad links or legacies if we have proper sources & evidence.

We have many internet fantasy or mythological profiles that were uploaded before WikiTree developed better gedcom practices to catch them, and before the EuroAristo Project was created to help merge the duplicates and fix them with proper sources.

Thanks for bring this to our attention and I will remove the so-called father, Floris.

I am not familiar with Hollands/de Hollands and hopefully, someone with some more suggestions for this profile.

Matthew Holland is not a groundless fantasy.  His alleged PARENTS and WIFE are the groundless internet fantasies (as stated on Matthew's profile).
