In the address of the recipient is a small a after 61099, that is a bit unusual I think.  Maybe you could try it without that small a.  Also, if you have ever received an email from this person maybe you could copy the address from that.  These are just suggestions.  Good luck!
This is someone who contacted me on WikiTree.   I tried to answer them but got a message back there was no such address.  Contacted the Team & they told me to try the last one but it came back as well.  Now am sure someone must have written them or perhaps am wrong.  Anyway, cannot get in touch with this person who is related to my late husbands family.  No idea what to do.  Will try leaving the small "a" out & see if that works.
Tried it with a Capital "A" and without & both were rejected.  It seems to me if they contacted WikiTree on-line, you guys should have their correct address?  I did not receive anything from them other than the message sent by you.
Hi Lauraine,

WikiTree will have the correct email address for all members ... that is, the correct address at the time they signed up.  If a member changed their email address after that, then WikiTree will not know about it unless the member entered the new address in his/her own profile.

There is no need to waste your time trying different variations - email addresses are not case sensitive, so it doesn't matter if you use upper or lower case for any letters in the address.  If you received a private message and clicked the "reply" button in your email program then the email address the person entered at the time they sent you the private message will automatically be in the "to" field of your reply message.

Here's the kicker - when you send a private message, you have to fill in the email address field or it cannot be sent.  If you don't want to reveal your email address to the person who will be receiving the message, then you can change your email address that shows in the private message to something else.  It sounds to me like that's what the person probably did ... and the result is that your reply goes to an invalid email address.  There is absolutely nothing you can do about it and there is nothing WikiTree can do about it either.

If the person is a WikiTree member, then you can contact him/her by sending him/her a private message, otherwise I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but you are out of luck.
Thank you.  Just figured that if WikiTree got the original message & forwarded it to me, they should have an address.  This person asked me for information & was willing to give what I had, but it was returned.  Will try putting a message on the person she was interested in on her page & hope she makes contact again.

Have you tried looking up that person's profile here? Put a message on their page.

This was a new person who just happened on the site.  Wrote to ask her to join & also give her the information I had on the person she was interested in.  Unfortunately, her message was returned as undeliverable with a wrong address.  I clicked on her name to send the message so not sure how it was wrong.  Thank you for your interest.
