Frank and Sarah Davis Croft

Question

I have a Frank Croft born in Bedfordshire, England on 5 February 1854.  He married Sarah Ann Davis (born 22 June 1857 in Luten, England).  They married in 1876 in England.  Their first child Frank, Jr. was born in 1878 in England.  I found them In the 1880, Dallas, TX census.  I'm assuming they immigrated in 1879.  My parents had told me numerous times that Frank had to leave a twin brother on the docks in England for some reason, I'm not sure about that though.  The closest ports of entry for Dallas immigrants would be Galveston, TX or New Orleans, LA but I can't find their names anywhere.  Neither can I find records of them becoming citizens.  They lived around Dodson, TX and Hollis, OK most of their lives.  They both died in Portales, Roosevelt County New Mexico.  Does anyone know anything about this couple?
