How to delete a person from GEDCOM within GedCompare? [closed]

I'm using GEDCOMpare and have gone through a few hundred comparisons already, which has taken some time.  Now I've found a stray unconnected person in my Gedcom who shouldn't have been there and who I don't want to add to WikiTree.  Can I delete them or flag them to be ignored within GEDCOMpare (like the 26 English people born before 1700 will be), or do I have to edit my Gedcom file and start all over again?    Thank you.

It look like theres been a serious misunderstanding here. (Maybe the documentation needs improvement.)

GEDCOMpare doesn't force us to take any actions. You don't have to add anyone from yor GEDCOM. If you find a record in your GEDCOM that you want to ignore, use the little checkbox at the left end of the row to mark it as "done."
Oh really?  Well, what I took from the documentation was that checking that box would do absolutely nothing - I must re-read it!  Part of the problem is that I've never done this before, so I'm assuming the ADD button that is referred to is a single button that adds everyone in the file.  If instead it is one Add button per row then that would be compatible with your answer.  Do you know if there is one Add button per Gedcom, or one per row?  I'm still reviewing potential matches.  Thanks!

Each row in the GEDCOMpare report gets its own ADD button, so you can decide for each row whether you want to create a profile for that person or not. It also means that you can choose what order you create them in, so you can work logically up or down a branch.

Marking the checkbox at the start of a row doesn't cause anything to happen, but there is a button near the top that allows you to hide all the rows that have the checkbox marked. That makes it easier to see which rows are left that still need attention.

Hello Kim,

When you have completed the GEDCOMpare process, those profiles which you have not identified as an existing profile will have an ADD button. You will then click on the ADD button and only when you agree to 'CREATE PROFILE' will a new profile be created.

You can flag a profile but that has no meaningful point, it is just for your visual benefit - just to remind you not to click on the ADD button

Did you include yourself in the GEDCOM, make certain that you have identified yourself as an existing profile, it is then best to start on your parents, then grandparents, then great-grandparents, go back as far as you can in the GEDCOM, then fill out the siblings.

Thank you.  Yes I'm in the Gedcom, and I've learnt my lesson, and have started again having cleaned up the Gedcom file first.
