My mother was born in Hammersmith and Fulham in February 1926 and then adopted by a family in Wiltshire.
Whilst I have her mothers' maiden and married name I am having no luck in tracing her nor do I know when my mother was actually adopted.
The grandmother I am trying to trace is an Alice Mary Clarke formerly Foote. There is no father stated on my mothers birth certificate.
