I am asking for help to find out what happened to my GGGrandfather Thomas Henry Goddard born 1859/60 in Barbados. He was a fisherman and is one the fishermen in the Barbados photo that is widely available to see online.
His mother was Mary Goddard but it seem she was already a Goddard when he was born. Which I find odd. I believe his father was William Goddard.
I can find no record for his death. Just two marriages and his children.
I also found information that his siblings were all half siblings.
Can anyone help as to his death and if his mother was married or was actually a Goddard and unmarried please ?
I have looked in the usual places.
My Gran is 98 at the end of April, I would like to provide her with information about Thomas Henry.
