Searching for death date of first wife and marriage source for second

I have recently scanned a number of family photos and copies of newspaper articles (Death notices, Wedding announcements, etc). I clipped the top of one article, so I don't know the year. It is either 1903 or 1905. I've looked on FamilySearch and Fulton postcards, but haven't found a death date for Lelia (Sammis) Davis. The newspaper article is an image on her profile.

I believe Lelia's husband, Robert Davis, (Davis-54551) married second a "Bertha Schlueter". I didn't find a source for this marriage on FamilySearch, but census records have them together in 1910.

Note: A photo, from 1929, on Robert's profile gives Bertha's LNAB.

Could anyone suggest another source to look at? Or would a newspaper subscription be the way to go?

If you know the newspaper, try the Library of Congress.

Ancestry has both a marriage and obituary index. Perhaps they are there.

Or, try a local genealogical society or a county library that may have access to local historical papers, or who could do a lookup.

There is an image with this record. Expanding the entry gives..

If you don’t have an Ancestry subscription, you can use it at any FHC and at many public libraries without a subscription.
