Hi there, starting to piece together the family tree and we know nothing about my grandfather, nor if he is living, except that his parents were named Thomas Edward Gibson and Eileen Davis/Davies and a couple other facts. If anyone had any other info or help that would be greatly appreciated. I'm putting together a profile soon.
Known details:
Had an older sister and a younger brother.
Father's name: Thomas Edward Gibson
Mother's name: Eileen May? Sophie? Maiden name: Davis/Davies, we know her mother was born in Germany and could not speak english. A possible scottish father?
Knowledge from my grandmother:
- Thomas + Eileen lived in Housing commission in Chermside, queensland, australia.
- approx dobs and death dates but so far for me aren't yielding any results so may be very inaccurate. Thomas: 3/11/1915 - 12/7/1983 and Eileen: 1/4/1910 - ???, with a marriage around 1935.
- Thomas worked at the horse races, the people wearing red coats (or something like that haha)
- Eileen worked at a cafe
- Both died of lung cancer
