Have any new changes to the appearance to WikiTree Pages been made in the last two days?

Question

My computer was hacked; now it is up and running with no problem but all of WikiTree looks strange. There is no color on my Ranger and Greeter calendars and most of the other pages are just white with black print. Any ideas?

Hi Virginia. I don't think official stylistic changes have been made (yet): I haven't seen any. Can you try on a different browser?

Nope, it is also different on Microsoft Edge. I think something was clicked in settings that changed the appearance of everything. I can deal with most of  the pages but my calendars are really difficult to read as they have no color codng: Greeters and Rangers calendars are a pale black print and white backgrounds.I have not been able to change that.

Are you using the WikiTree Browser Extension? Maybe something has happened to the style settings.

I might play with this and see if I can get the pages to appear more normal. The problem is Family Search and Ancestry pages also look much different so I think something happened overall on Chrome. We will need to go back and see if it can be fixed. Meanwhile, thank you for this link - it might help!

Are you using an external monitor?  (If so, is it maybe not connected well?)

It sounds like your browser is set to dark mode. Go to the settings, theme, and set it to light.

It is set to light and I have tried it both ways. It is the formatting rather than the dark/light. Everything is formatted differently. But, thanks for the idea!!
