Does the CW project have a specific group tagged for this Thon? I already have my spreadsheet together, but could quickly add a few men to my list today.

I can give you a list of men who are sourced, but not connected.  Just tell me how many you want.
I’ll take 5. That is all I will have time to research today, I think. Thank you.
Thank you.

Regarding Philetus Leet Goodnoe (1840 - 1916) of  Co A, 3rd Michigan Infantry see Goldendale Sentinel, April 13, 1916, Page 3. See Civilwardata

I’m curious if he might of been a heavy tobacco smoker? Cigar or pipe?

Hope this helps in his genealogy research

Edit: see Obit

He was a Canal boy for the Erie Canal! I find that interesting as I fished it with many memories as a teenager! The history of those waters…good fishing too!

The lumber camps I find interesting as my paternal side moved New York to Michigan then to Washington same migratory pattern…interesting the irony!

See also the history of Goodnoe Hills at Washington Rural Heritage and Goodnoe Hills grade school

A good YouTube of the Goodnoe ghost town

Note: the U.S. Civil War end date April 9, 1865. He “deserted” on 6/21/1865 at Cairo, IL. Although as most of us researchers know it’s not always as the term implies

Regarding William T. Hubbard of Company H 106th New York Infantry

He was married to Marietta A Hubbard per her memorial and his sources cited

Needs obit still to connect the dots

Regarding Daniel Marshall of Company B 106th New York Infantry

Married to a Hester E. Coons married name Marshall

The possible cemetery for their burial is Plateau Cemetery, Browns Valley, Traverse County, Minnesota, USA

However no Hester Marshall found in memorials for this cemetery

Did a quick obit lookup and can not find Daniel or Hester Marshall’s obits yet…

Needs researching and connecting but this info might help in the research

Regarding Peter D. Lemley of Co K 42nd IL Infantry

“A Mason”

He was married and he has a beautiful gravestone which provides some clues…

The stone has a mystery? Peter’s wife Josephine Colson Lemley stone has no date of death or it was scrubbed away with time?

Note: I did a quick obit look up but with no success

Regarding Fayette D. Graves  of Company A 106th New York Infantry

Per familysearch bio: When Fayette D. Graves was born about 1845, in St. Lawrence, New York, United States, his father, James Graves, was 30 and his mother, Catherine Temple, was 28. He lived in Gouverneur, Gouverneur, St. Lawrence, New York, United States in 1850 and Canton, Canton, St. Lawrence, New York, United States in 1860. He died on 14 January 1922, in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota, United States, at the age of 78.

Per sources cited

Note: quick obit search turned up nothing but maybe another search will find an obit of the “Graves” family?
