The excellent research of Raymond Bell on the early colonial Baskin family of Pennsylvania (likely from Ireland) which is cited on this profile makes no suggestion whatsoever of the parentage of John and William Baskin first found in Chester County and later Lancaster (now Dauphin) County in Pennsylvania. Two versions of Bell's work are digitized (1958) https://archive.org/details/baskinsbaskinfam00bell/page/6/mode/2up and (1963) https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=wu.89062852769&seq=8
It appears the Baskins-12 profile is a creation however an Unknown Baskins profile to link together the men known and others believed to be brothers makes sense. It's been decades since anyone (I am aware of) has worked to locate the Baskin family in Ireland before emigration. This may be possible since more is known of some of the Irish families with which they were associated after arrival in the colony.
