US Census categories for Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio United States

Question

While working on the Hollencamp-18 profile, I noticed that there are two categories for the 1930 census in Dayton: 

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:1930_US_Census_Dayton%2C_Montgomery_County%2C_Ohio and https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:1930_US_Census%2C_Dayton%2C_Ohio

Can these categories be merged somehow?

I also noticed that there does not seem to be a category for the 1880 US Census in that city. Should this category be created?

Yes those categories can be merged.

Normally we do not make US Census categories down to a town/city/district level unless there is someone actually working on the location that is smaller than a county level. It does look like there is someone working on this area with the multiple categories set up so the 1880 category will be set up as well.
