Is there a category for WAF (Women in the Air Force) who served in the 1950s and 60s?

I'd like to add a category to Marilyn Smith.  She served for 20 years in the WAF (Women in the Air Force) and retired a MSGT.  She was not a pilot.  Her plaque in the National Cemetery reflects service during Korea and Viet Nam, but I don't believe that she was ever stationed in a combat zone.  Can anyone recommend how I should categorize this profile?  Thanks.

There is now a category: Category: United States Women in the Air Force

If her unit is known, please add that in addition.

Will this do?

If not ask the Military and War project team

You should add the military & war tag to the question.

That is for UK women, Nick, but thanks for looking. smiley

My Bad.  That is where making assumptions gets you.

The Vietnam reference was a clue that I missed.
