Was Leannah Sowles a descendent of George Soules?

I am searching for a source that would put Leannah Souls as the daughter of John and Meribah Soules. All the sources I’ve come across state that they only had 2 descendants, Ann and Reliance. Leannah seems to be the only descendent that is connected to North Carolina so I’m not so sure she was the daughter of John Soules. I would like to get to the bottom of it to better understand if George Soules was my 11th great-grandfather.

The online database at the website does not have Leannah. But, perhaps they have have other information on her.

Thanks for getting back to me. Many New Englanders DID move to North Carolin at an early period. Many, especially Quakers, coalesced at Perquimans County. Here's the county website: GenealogyTrails-nc-perquimans. Use highlight and GoTo to bring up the main page..

What I was asking was about the DATE information, as in WHEN & where in NC does this SOWLE name appear?  If we are talking about, say 1700-1750, then 95% NO as George's 6th generation descendants have been written up. Is that the time frame you are talking about? Please be more specific.

I have almost zero information on her, other than she was born in North Carolina. I’m almost positive now she was not a descendent of John and Meribah as they seemed to have never left New England. Someone inaccurately updated the info about a year ago but it has now been fixed. They only had 2 children. Ann and Reliance.

It's highly unlikely that a couple who never left New England had a child in North Carolina. The daughter's profile is essentially unsourced, so I have disconnected her. If supporting proof can be provided, we can re-evaluate.

From the 2015 Mayflower Families in Progress for George Soule. John and Meribah had only two children, Ann and Reliance, already listed on their profile.

I also looked in the index for Leannah. She's not there.
