Where is the proof that David Sheppard was born in Baldwin County, Alabama?

I believe this fact was placed in error.

This does not coincide with findagrave birthplace but, info in FG also states he served in the civil war 1836-1837.???? That's why we use sources.

I misunderstood that it was Baldwin County, Georgia as the reference. I agree that this is likely as he was married in Jones (which was formed from Baldwin Co., Georgia in 1803).
