Can I add pre-1500 sources to my free space?

The background:
I have a free space where I collect and publish transcriptions of source documents (mainly church records) about Battenberg, Germany. Right now, the documents span the years 1552 to 1852, but I would like to add transcriptions going back to before 1500. I have published about those documents in print before, but I am now ready to add them to the page to make them accessible more easily.

The problem:
I do not have the pre-1500 batch, and I am worried that I lose access to my page when I change the date range to something before 1500. I do not intend to edit profiles from that time, just to provide free access to those sources already available in print, but I am unsure how strict the pre-1500 rule is when it comes to free spaces.

Hi Daniel,
I think it should be fine and you will still have access to the free-space page.  When access is denied to a pre-1500 page, I think it must depend on a pre-1500 birth or death date on a profile not something written in a free-space page or even a biography and I've certainly never come across a data doctor suggestion relating to a fsp.

Thank you for doing all this it must take a lot of work to both view the original records and transcribe them.

Thanks! Yes, I have spent thousands of hours over the past 15 years working on this, and am still far from finished.

What I am worried about is not what it says in the text of the free space, but in the date range (the "start date"), which may or may not be handled like a birth date. I would just try it but as I said, I am afraid of breaking it...

The pre-1500 restriction only applies to person-profiles, not to free space pages.

I just did a quick test page.
I set the start date to 1400.
I can still edit and save the page.
I do not have the pre-1500 badge.
