Would it make sense to create a category for the Doncaster School for the Deaf

Hi,

I have a question about school categories. The woman in the linked profile attended what was then the Yorkshire Residential School for the Deaf and is now the Doncaster School for the Deaf https://www.deaf-trust.co.uk/school/. It was founded in 1829 and was one of the earliest schools for the deaf and I think might be an important one to track for future. I wasn't sure what the criteria was for schools or what information you need to set one up, so let me know if there's extra detail I should share. If it is possible to create a catagory then I will make sure there is a profile of the headmaster and his wife who led the school for 45 years which should also make it more attractive/findable.

Many thanks

Hi Natasha,

Thank you for asking. Yes, we do have categories for schools. You can see some existing ones at Yorkshire Schools. Therefore having one for the deaf is an excellent idea.
I don't have time to do it now, but we should be able to get it done tomorrow for you.
I easily found information online, but if more is needed we will get back to you.

Great, thanks and no urgency! I might go on a bit of detour to get the headmaster on there

All done now Natasha. See Doncaster School for the Deaf.
