Problem with CC7 Tree App?

Question

When I run the CC7 Tree App and sort on Created, it only shows 2020 as the most recently created?

Yes, recent API changes have broken things.  Things have been fixed, but the fixes are in the queue to be approved for production. In the mean time you can test-drive the new version at https://apps.wikitree.com/apps/smit641/cc7/#view=cc7. Please let me know if you find any further issues there.

Tried the new version you provided, but no joy. Same problem, newest creation date is 2020, and CC7 count is 630 vs 1597.

Did you force re-load (ctrl-reload in Chrome on Windows, shift-reload on a Mac) the page first?  When I load your CC7, I get 1505 profiles.

I think there is a problem with it. I'm getting an error message: "The requested profile (Sullivan-17177) [that's me] was not returned by WikiTree, so some functionality, like the Hierarchy view and ancestor statistics, has been disabled and some filters will return unexpected results." Then only a partial list is populated. Been like this for a couple of days now.

My CC7 number on my profile page says 3318.  Yet my number when I go via Tree Apps says 784.  I do not have 2534 private profiles.

i tried shutting down and relaunching Chrome, same result. But in Firefox it works.

Finally it works. I cleared the Chrome cache. All is good now.

I deleted the cache on Vivaldi (based on Chrome).  No improvement.

Tried the link in Riel's post above, and it worked.  Well, the number on my profile page, which says 3318, is still more than the number in Tree Apps, which is now 3288, but the difference is more likely than the couple of thousand that were supposedly private before.  Hope this improvement gets 'produced' quickly.

The total is now fine, but i assume that the problem when a profile has the privacy set to something other than OPEN will remain - will it ?

Yes, the API no longer returns private profiles for which the caller does not have permission.  In the past it returned a "placeholder person" with very little to no additional information, but no longer.  Hence relative counts (and the total CC count) will be inaccurate.  The price we pay for privacy.
