Brickwalls for Lockerby and Barrowman

Question

Just wondering if anyone may be able to help with a couple of dead ends / brick walls I have for:

Lockerby-298

Jean Lockerby is noted on an unsourced family tree but all records I come across for her have different variations of her surname. I have no idea where she sprang from or where she disappeared to!

Her husband William is also a bit of a mystery.

Barrowman-161.

I have his descendants and parents and siblings for him but no information further than births for his siblings. There are also two other possible siblings (Barrowman-160) but I'm not confident enough to add them into the mix!

If anyone can shed any light on any of these people it would be greatly appreciated.

James was born or baptised 05 Nov 1760 to Alexander Barrowman and Jean Muir in Leith South. Barrowman can be spelled different ways. Borrowman is another.

Thanks Elizabeth. I did have that info for James but when I went back to check realised how awful my source citations were, so have now tidied those up a bit

The first children of Alexander Barrowman and wife Jean Muir were born in Dalgety, Fife. You might want to look there.

Thanks Elizabeth, I can see four more children for Alexander Barrowman and Jean Muir.

Their grandchildren are the ones I am having trouble with.

Perhaps I should add profiles for Alexander and Jean and their other children and it may bring out some other info.
