Delete category?

Question

There is a category for "Middle Tennessee", as one of the three Grand divisions of the state. There is inconsistency with this tag existing, because there are two other Grand divisions of the state, but no categories for them.

For category consistency, can the Middle Tennessee tag be deleted, or, can tags be added for the other two Grand divisions of the state - "East Tennessee" and "West Tennessee."

I am in favor of deletion, as it really serves no purpose. It is a geographic region and it's a container category for counties. So, for WikiTree purposes, it's not useful as a grouping.
