New Category: HM Coastguard Stations page needs attention

Question

There appear to ba a couple of bugs in the new category page.  Its alphabetical list of stations has defaulterd to H from HMCG.  It needs to mimic the RN Ships list by ignoring HMRC and listing in name order.  There are some other anomalies that need sorting.

Or have I misunderstood the instreuctions, in which case can they be clarified please.

Hello Nick

You need to have the sort option on the subcategories. See the changes I did for HMCG Alnmouth and HMCG Lyddon Spout .

On the HMCG Lyddon Spout category I did the following change. [[Category:HM Coastguard Stations]] was changed with a pipe character | and then I added three letters after it to help with sorting. It now reads [[Category:HM Coastguard Stations|Lyd]]

I can see what you have done.  There will be another 33 Profiles with coastguard stations to be added, so we need clear instructions on how to create them correctly.
 Can you advise further, please?

Any thoughts about tidying up the rest of the https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:HM_Coastguard_Stations page? E.g. Three Stations appear as subcategories, how do we remove them?

I have hit a snag, There are a couple of West -  Westgate and Westbay.  We now have two "W" lists.,
