It's entry #10 (at the top of the page)

Thank you so so much! The "Sulingen" place name should help.

Thanks Dieter for the selection. smiley

Can you fill the gaps?

I'm obviously not Dieter, but I'll do my best. wink

1. Witgrebe

2. Pewsum (https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/20468027) - fits her mother's name:

3. Trientie (probably Trientje)

4. [Schlosskirche] hier (= here = Schlosskirche Hannover)

5. Danckwerts (correct)

6. Consens vom [18. August 1873] (= consent from/on)

7. [Eltern] schriftlich (= in writing)

regards, Vanessa

Many thanks Vanessa, you are welcome not to be Dieter. I wanted to list some names, experienced with bad writing. But I knew I would forget some and don't know others. And I didn't want to hurt someone which would not be mentioned. But there are many helped me already in such difficulties.

I accept all your 7 answers and build them in in the originial transcription and translation.
Thanks so much for the help!
I'm just realizing that you said "Thank Dieter for the selection" - not sure what's meant by this?

There are some specifics about the questions and the answers.

  • The question need not to be a question. It can be the sharing of an experience. That's only technical.
  • You can vote a good/bad question with the arrows on the left, but not your own.
  • You can vote a good/bad answer with the arrows on the left, but not your own.
  • So others get an eye catcher for interesting questions and answers.
  • Also others can take vote up to clap on the shoulder for a good job in translating or what ever.
  • Maybe the original question gets three answers. one technical, one with extra help and one with more explanations. So you get three correct answers. Each answer has a foggy star on the right. You can click the star of the best answer. only one answer can be selected as beth. Thats the biggest possibility of acknowledgment you have. At first I would see the selection as privilege of the questioner to select the best answer. But often they don't. After a while everyone should be free to select a best answer (but honestly). As questioner I would feel free to change the selection when it does not math my opinion.
  • In the statistics, it is counted how many of your answers are selected as best.
  • Comments cannot be voted and not be selected.
  • And last but not least: Please close your question when it is answerde sufficiently with a short notice.
  • That all are points of communication.
  • Take part and use the possibilities.
And after a while Dieter selected my answer as the best , thats the reason for my thanks.
