Cathy, Yes, there are 2 Oliver McAdams.

Oliver McAdams born abt 1868, died 1933, Son of Duncan E. McAdams and Harriet Elizabeth Ferdon. 

And his son Oliver McAdams born May 1898 died 1963.

The sources for Oliver McAdams and his wife Katherine "Katie" Young show that there were 11 children born to their marriage. 

The Find a Grave record for Oliver McAdams senior has his birth date incorrect, as he is found on the 1870 Census with his parents Duncan and Harriet described as age 4, he cannot have been born in 1872.

also shows his son Oliver McAdams. 

Adding the sources for Oliver born abt 1868 and his family will make the family relationships clear.

Cathy there is no my tree, WT is a collaborative shared tree, your ancestors are also someone else's ancestors,

Why are you rejecting proposed matches that have matching spouses and children with same date and locations?

You are not providing any sources for why they are not the same families.

I thought I had that right to make up own mind. I feel like I’m being bullied to change my mind I have three different people email about it. I’m not charging my mind about it. So everyone have a good night I’m going back to bed because I’m very sick.

Wikitree 'policy' is to have sources on profiles, but there are none on the profiles that you are rejecting.  I have added Census sources to Duncan McAdams-177 profile,as well as the household lists which shows the children. He had only one wife, not 2 wives with the same name.  

The reason for the merge of Harriet Ferdon profiles is because the names and marriage dates are the same.  He only has one wife in the census.

Hi Cathy,  WikiTree is unlike other websites because we all share the profiles.  The merge requests sent to you are asking you to combine the information for two or more matching individuals.  Information from both profiles will be combined into one profile (the one with the earliest original ID number.) We aren’t trying to annoy you, but the rules for WikiTree are that each person that ever lived and can be documented gets one WikiTree ID. If there are two profiles for the same person, they must be merged to combine the information back to one ID.  Your ID is Holden-1885. If someone else created a profile for you, we would have to merge the two profiles.
