Early Colonial South Carolina Huguenots in the back country - best sources for old letters and personal stories?

I'm seeking proof for an ancestor's parentage (born circa 1722) and wonder what I might turn up if I read through the surviving old correspondences or journals. Where might I find this sort of old collection? Thanks!

The best source for info on SC Huguenots is the Huguenot Society of South Carolina. https://huguenotsociety.org/  There is a form on their website where you can send a request to the library for information. They also have links to their Transactions.

I've looked at the Transactions on The Huguenot Society of South Carolina website and the earliest I can find is from their meetings starting in 1961. I have found some information on my ancestors.

I live in the upstate of SC and am planning to visit their library this spring.

It is hard to see but on the Transactions page, there is a link that says Click here to view editions published in 1960 and earlier.  It takes you to https://lcdl.library.cofc.edu/lcdl/?f%5Bcollection_titleInfo_title_facet%5D%5B%5D=Transactions%20of%20the%20Huguenot%20Society%20of%20South%20Carolina&sort=daterange%20asc
