How do I know DNA Matches without Actual DNA results?

Hello:

I have taken DNA tests with Ancestry, Family Tree, 23&Me and my heritage.  But since no DNA results are stores at Wikitree, how do I make DNA matches?

Thanks,

Wikitree was never meant to be a matching service.

1 - Wikitree is very much dependent on correct genealogical connections, and as long as those profiles are connected and sourced correctly,...

2 - The global tree shows some potential and possible matches there may be out there. But these are not definite matches. For potential matches, you and the other person would have to do a DNA test, or at least match up your DNA data, on Gedcom, if your tests are not with the same company.

Add your AncestryDNA, Family Finder, or MyHeritage DNA results to GEDmatch.com and then you can find your DNA matches in WikiTree.  See:

After you get a base Gedmatch number for each test you took, get your combined Gedmatch number to add Wikitree

Regarding multiple test kits for the same person in GEDmatch, please see https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/623399/how-do-i-manage-duplicate-kits-at-gedmatch?show=623399#q623399
