Should there be a „United States, Name Studies“ Category analogous to OPS? [closed]

I noticed that the country category was removed from specific ONS country categories, e.g. United States Ostermann Name Study. Of course that makes perfect sense, as we don’t need hundreds of ONS categories directly under the United States category. However, OPS projects can place their US categories under United States, Place Studies. Can we have an analogous „United States, Name Studies“ category, please!

There was one in the past, but we deleted them. Name studies do NOT get locations as parent categories. Each name study can be broken down by place, but the categories are all contained within the name studies structure.

It makes more sense to use the locations in PLACE studies, as they are location based.

Completely understood! It still would be nice to have all ONS projects, which pertain to one country, in one category. At this point, without "Country, Name Studies", it is impossible to see which ONS projects in WikiTree have a category in, say, France, unless you want to click through 3000+ ONS category structures and note all those with a category "France, X Name Study". Pity!
Thanks, Natalie, that's great!

I'm still learning about WikiTree+ ... :)

How strange.  I still have "United States, Murch Name Study"...

You can have it in your study! It's just the location category that was removed as a parent.

Yes, of course. I also have United States, Ostermann Name Study plus plenty more for other countries. However, the top categories for country are only categorized under the specific ONS project category but not under the country category like United States (which has 100 subcategories of its own already and doesn't need one like my country category as linked above).
