Since my last question about Vernice, I've learned that her maiden name is not actually Fontenot (that was just her stepfather's, John William Fontenot), but Roubique.
Celeste Fontenot seems to be her biological mother.
In the 1910 census, there is a Celeste Roubique of the correct age living with an Eddie Roubique:

I can't tell if this is the same Celeste though. Her two Roubique children were born between the 1910 and 1920 censuses, and in the 1920 census she is already married to J. W. Fontenot, so there is no census record with her living with Vernice, Irene, AND Mr. Roubique.
