Why is haplogroup not inherited by ancestors?

My paternal line can be traced on wikitree through Appolonise Guillory, but my paternal haplogroup doesn't show up on his profile or any of his paternal ancestors. It only shows up on his descendants.

How can I fix this?

The WikiTree backend process for updating DNA connections is asynchronous. While I don't know the precise technical details of the system, I've found it takes upwards of 24 hours for linked ancestors to be updated. Since this looks to be a tree connection you've made recently, I'd recommend giving it some more time to refresh.

You should also be aware that while WikiTree does propagate DNA test data throughout the profiles in a given line, it is only as accurate as the data entered by WikiTree members and may have errors. WikiTree does not compare actual DNA raw data from one person to the next. What it does do however is to give hints as to who may be related to or descended from whom based upon data entered by other genealogists. 

In order to compare actual DNA, you need to use a website such as GEDmatch for Autosomal DNA, or in your case Y-Full for Y-DNA.  There are other sites, but these are the ones that I use. the most.
