Right-hand page, middle-left. There appears to be the signature on this marriage record of a "Jean Baptise N-----". Am I reading this incorrectly?

Is it maybe an illiterate phonetic transcription of something like "Nigé"?

To me it appears to be Rigger.

It is definitely an R, the top loop is fainter but it is there.
I thought the top loop belonged to a lowercase g on the line above, but now that I actually read that line, a g would not make sense.

Please take a closer look. I see the name as Rigger.
