Is Smith-321927 grandson of Smith-52354?

Question

According to FamilySearch #LTJ9-GZT, Smith-321927 is son of Jesse B. Smith, who is son of Smith-52354. 

But there is no source provided for the connection to Jesse B. Smith. If anyone can find one, we can create a profile for Jesse B. and trace his line through the Cajun community to the present day.

You might be able to access Louisiana Marriage Records (which is the Family Search 'source') as frequently that info is shown (my own Marionneaux folks records usually show parents).

If you can locate his marriage records it might possibly show his parents.  Knowing the parish in which the marriage took place helps immensely.

The page for [[Smith-321927|John Smith]] of S. Carolina does include his Opelousas, Louisiana marriage record, which names his parents as Jesse B. Smith and Susanna Smith.

Unfortunately it does not actually specify the middle name as "Jesse B. Smith", so it's unclear if it's the same Jesse Smith.
