Shared Photo: Henry & M. Elizabeth Mankelow with her King family

My question is - how do make this a comment and NOT a question?
This photo is from a glass negative taken by Thomas King and his grandson Rodney King said "I have a copy of the same photo from a postcard (see third page) and on the reverse my father (John King, son of Thomas) wrote the names of those pictured. I am pretty sure Puke Ariki got the name details from when I spent a morning going through the Thomas King Collection of glass negatives, when I name the people in about half of those plate negatives.

The photo is dated about 1908 in my notes, based on the estimated age of the baby Gladys ARMS (18 Nov 1907 – 4 Nov 2007)."

Thanks for sharing this awesome photo!  I checked, but I am not related to Will Hall.  Still, just looking at the variety of the men's beards or clean shaven, shirt collars, ties and coats, one can get a sense that styles of dress are changing in this time period.  Some are hanging on to old styles and some are gong for a new look!  Amazing!
