This month we will be connecting orphaned profiles who are members of the category Germany, Needs Profiles Created.  These profiles should already have some sources that provide information on other family members who don't have profiles yet.

Maria Clara (Wehrheim) Hett (Connected - Thanks Flo!) - Hesse - 97 starting connections

Anna Barbara (Brauer) Kehrer - Württemberg - 2 starting connections

Johann Joachim Carl Heinrich Christian Witt - Mecklenburg-Schwerin - 29 starting connections

Karl Friedrich Böttcher - Sachsen-Anhalt - 19 starting connections

Have fun!

I´ll try to work on Württemberg  - Anna Barbara (Brauer) Kehrer. Sources are on Archion, that means with a little bit of time and digging this should be doable. And maybe I can find a connection to the https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Kehrer-33
#1 is connected

A lot of the profiles in Maria Clara Wehrheim's tree have the location "Bad Homburg - Kirdorf".  Does anyone know what this location should be called in various eras?

@Manu: At FamilySearch the Kehrers converge at 2WX5-BG1, now we only need sources wink

Does not look like so much fun, to go back all those generations and create profiles... But probably it´s a good thing to do. I´m still searching for motivation:-) But the month has just started.

And Familysearch seems to be wrong. https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/MTSQ-W76 is according to his marriage record from Wannweil and not from Betzingen (see profile for Johann Jacob Kehrer)  Keep on searching

Still, maybe a good opportunity to look at these profiles during the Connect-a-Thon?

Wehrheim: There is unconnected Johannes Adam Hofacker (abt.1746-aft.1801) from Bad Orb and connected Heinrich Hofacker (1783-bef.1849), who got married there.

Turns out, one was the son of the other. Connected!

That Witt connection contains mostly Witt people from Gorlosen. There would be Johann Wilhelm August Witt (1865-1956), but apparently his family comes from a different place originally.

There are a few emigrants from there, e.g. here, here and here, but none of the names do really fit, it seems.
